Uriel Orlow

Uriel Orlow (b. 1973, Zurich) lives and works in London and Zurich He makes multi-media installations that focus on micro-histories and explore blind spots and forms of haunting, bringing different image-regimes and narrative modes into correspondence. Recent solo exhibitions include John Hansard Gallery, Southampton; Depo, Istanbul; Castello di Rivoli, Turin (2015); Spike Island, Bristol; CCS Paris (2013); Kunsthaus Centre PasquArt, Biel (2012). Recent group presentations include EVA International Limerick; Arter, Istanbul (2016); Whitechapel Gallery (2015); Palais de Tokyo, Paris (2014); Bergen Assembly (2013); Manifesta 9(2012) and the 54th Venice Biennale (2011). Orlow is a Visiting Professor at the Royal College of Art London, Reader at University of Westminster, and also teaches at the University of the Arts, Zurich.
