Bahbak Hashemi-Nezhad is a London based designer. He graduated from the Royal College of Art in 2008, establishing a cross-disciplinary practice that produces work ranging from interior and public spaces, recipes to photography, public interventions and product design.

His work draws from vernacular and ‘collective intelligence’ and social patterns of use, to question the changing role of design within domestic and urban spaces. Recent projects include Auber- gineNW8, London Festival of Architecture; Room 3, Lloyd Hotel, Amsterdam; Auto-Assemble-Food, Architecture Association, London; Parallax, Tokyo Wonder Site; seminars/workshops on the changing demands on public space from a local youth perspective, Serpentine Gallery; and the design of games as permissive research actions in public space, The Showroom. He has taught at several universities including Royal College of Art, Central St Martins and Kingston University.
