The Showroom invests in the commissioning and production of new work. For 40 years, The Showroom has been a pioneer of socially-engaged contemporary art practice, known for challenging what art can be and do.

We champion emerging and underrepresented artists, enabling risk-taking and experimentation and often presenting artists in London for the first time.

Individual giving provides essential support to The Showroom. We offer a range of Benefactor, Patrons and Friends schemes for those who want to become involved.

Friends - From £100 yearly
Help sustain our ambitious and innovative programme of artists commissions, local projects, talks and events.

Friends will receive a 30% discount on tickets to fundraising events and a 10% discount on all Showroom publications.

Patrons - From £1,000 yearly
Patrons enable the organisation to function and their support feeds directly into artists’ productions, in particular artist fees and seed funding for projects. They are invited to special exhibition events and acknowledged on the gallery board/wall/supporters poster.

Benefactors - From £3,000-£5,000 yearly
Benefactors are a circle of key supporters of The Showroom, whose involvement is vital to sustaining our organisation. Benefactors receive invitations to informal dinners and studio visits with associated artists. These relaxed events are designed to keep our Benefactors at the heart of what we do.
