Organisational partnerships are key to expanding the potential of our work, and we collaborate on a variety of projects with a broad network of like-minded organisations both in the UK and abroad.

Common Practice

Common Practice is an advocacy group working for the recognition and fostering of the small-scale contemporary visual arts sector in London.

Cluster

Cluster is a network of eight contemporary visual art organisations located in residential areas situated on the peripheries of European cities, extending to the Middle East with one member in Holon, Israel.

COHAB

COHAB was a network of three European arts organisations comprising The Showroom, London; Casco, Office for Art, Design and Theory, Utrecht, and Tensta Konsthall, Stockholm. For two years (2012–2014) COHAB investigated meaningful ways in which artists (and organisations) can be deeply invested within their local contexts and at the same time form close dialogues on an international arena

Lisson Gallery

Lisson Gallery is a contemporary art gallery with locations in London, New York and Shanghai. Lisson Gallery continues to provide support and assistance to The Showroom.

PHotoEspaña

PHotoEspaña is an international festival of photography and visual arts in Madrid, Spain. For its XXIII edition, The Showroom is to guest curate Contra La Raza [Against Race] – a multi-exhibition project and programme from June to September 2020

São Paulo Biennial

The São Paulo Biennial is the second oldest art biennial in the world. For the 34th edition of the Biennial in 2020, The Showroom will guest curate the Biennial’s publications and will become an institutional member within this edition’s network of partnerships.
