Sarika Londhe

Sarika Londhe is an independent mother who sustains her family through weaving cradles, mirrors, holders and house decorations using polyester and plastic rope. She works as part of a collective with other women whom she has taught the craft, innovating from basket and quilt weaving traditions common among the Mahar community from Maharashtra. She has collaborated with various artists from Clark House Initiative Bombay, initially with Camille Aleña.
