New Assistant Engagement Curator
We are delighted to welcome Dipo Alao-Odeleye to The Showroom as our Assistant Engagement Curator.
Dipo Alao-Odeleye is a cultural worker, griot, and curator whose communal-based work engages with memory, diaspora and the Blues via poetry and sound to transform the mundane into stories that affirm aliveness. They are also a part of the Youth Programme at Black Cultural Archives and have previously worked with several institutions such as Bold Tendencies, V&A Museum and Rich Mix.
Dipo will be supporting both the Engagement Programme and the Schools and Young People’s Programme, Imagining Futures until September.
This paid opportunity for students has been created with Art Fund support.
