The Europa Triangle and other stories

Publish and be Damned, Wysing Arts Centre and The Showroom invite you to the launch of three new publications related to projects with a focus on communal writing and editing.
To launch the publications Kit Hammonds and Daniel James Wilkinson will be reading a series of fictional stories about artists and curators and their relationships to communities.
The Europa Triangle by Kit Hammonds is the first book in the Publish and be Damned Inprint sic] series. Produced in relationship to the Goethe Institut-led collaborative project [Europe (to the power of n) related to the exhibition at the Royal College of Art in 2012. Based in conspiracy theory it draws together disparate social, political, mythic, aesthetic and historical uses of pyramid forms in a morphological derive. The event also marks the launch of The Europe (to the power of) n book. Designed by Oliver Klimpel it documenting the projects in partner institutions across Europe.
Ways of Working: A Rate of Exchange is the second in a series published by Wysing Arts Centre and looks at notions of value through the work of artists and curators. The series is edited by Publish and be Damned, Wysing Arts Centre and Unrealised Projects having been originally conceived collaboratively during a retreat as part of Wysing’s Escalator Programme.
The Showroom will also be launching Issue 2 of Can Altay’s Church Street Partner’s Gazette. Following the success of his 2010 edition the second issue departs from the themes of The Grand Domestic Revolution Goes On exhibition and recent shifts with the Church Street redevelopment plans.
