Would you like to participate in an artistic experience? is an ongoing project by Brazilian artist Ricardo Basbaum, which involves the circulation of 12 painted steel objects (125 x 80 x 18cm) around the world. Each object is offered to a range of participants (individuals, groups or collectives) for a period of time (around a month), with the request that they realise an artistic experience with it.
It is up to the participants to decide what kind of experience will be enacted during the time they are in the possession of it, for example, where the object will be taken and how will it be useful. The participants upload feedback in the form of texts, images, videos or objects, onto the project’s website,

Would you like to participate in an artistic experience? was initiated in 1994 and has already circulated through several countries around the world, from Europe to Latin America, including the UK, Germany, Brazil and Argentina. The object was showcased at the Church Street Festival on 12 July 2009, prior to beginning its journey around the Church Street Neighbourhood
